What delivery method does Eileen Douglas Tack Shops use?

Orders over £50 are delivered with a free next day service (Highlands and Islands will be sent Royal Mail and may take 2-5 days). Orders under £50 are delivered at a cost of £4.99 using a Royal Mail Second Class service (2-7 days).

When will my order be despatched?

Orders received before 12pm Monday to Friday will be despatched the same day provided we have your items in stock. Items ordered after 12pm on a Friday and over a weekend will be despatched the following Monday. Items despatched on Friday are for delivery the following week. Items ordered over a Bank Holiday will be despatched the next working day. Eileen Douglas Tack Shops is constantly updated but demand is high and we occasionally run out of stock on popular items. If, for this reason, we cannot despatch your order we will contact you with a revised despatch date.

Returns & Exchanges

Shop with the peace of mind that items can be returned to us within 28 days of receiving them if they are unsuitable.

Exchanges

  • The cost to return an item to us is the customers responsibility.
  • The customer can purchase a pre paid label from us for £4.00. When the item has arrived back with us we will call you for payment before we send the replacement item. Arrange Return Now
  • We will send the replacement item to you free of charge.
  • The returned item must be in the original condition, with labels, unsoiled and unused, within 28 days, for any reason.
  • Please package your item carefully to prevent it being damaged in transit
  • Enclose a completed returns form (on the bottom half of your invoice)
  • Exchanges will normally be processed within 2 days of us receiving the items back. If this is not possible due to the item being unavailable then we will contact you.
  • Returns made after 28 days or soiled goods will not be eligible for refund or exchange.

Refunds

  • A full refund will be provided on any item returned to us in the original condition, with labels, unsoiled and unused, within 28 days, for any reason. (£4.00 will be deducted from the refund if you choose to use our pre paid label)
  • Please package your item carefully to prevent it being damaged in transit
  • Enclose a completed returns form (on the bottom half of your invoice)
  • Refunds will be processed within 7 days of us receiving the items back.
  • Returns made after 28 days or soiled goods will not be eligible for refund or exchange.

Organising your own return

If you choose to organise your own return of items we advise that you obtain certificate of postage with adequate insurance as we are unable to compensate for return parcels that are lost or damaged in transit.

Alternatively you may return your goods to one of our stores within 28 days, please bring your invoice with you in order to receive a refund or exchange.

Quality of your Goods

For Faulty items please send pictures to sales@tackshop.co.uk showing the suspected fault along with your Account Number (found on your invoice). Often these matters can be dealt with quicker this way.

If an item is being returned due to it being faulty, Eileen Douglas Tackshops will refund the postage costs incurred for returning the item (up to the value of £5.00). Please be aware of this when returning items. We do advise to contact us first about your goods before returning them to us.

Why do we need your goods to be clean?

Repairs & Returns

Due to the health hazard and hygienic problems involved with horse and rider clothing and allied products is it regretted that we are unable to service or handle any equipment unless it is clean and dry.

Please note: Goods must be cleaned before we will inspect them. If your item is returned to us without being cleaned, we will charge to post the item back out to you.
